As the name suggests, The Wonderfools, is a comedy-heavy fantasy mini-series. The neighbourhood 'nobodies' end up with special powers and have to band together to save their town from a nefarious scientist. This is a goofy show but good fun and with some heart. The characters are all memorable and amusing, and there's even a little bit of romance along the way too. If you enjoy superhero stories and comedy, this would be a series to watch. The final episode concludes well but leaves a strong possibility for a second series, and I would definitely continue watching if season two goes ahead. I am giving this one 4.5 stars. Yes, it gets a bit silly at times, but in a fun and entertaining way that makes you smile.
