Teach You a Lesson was a drama with an interesting premise. While the show was a mix of emotional drama and humour, it did also raise many societal issues regarding the downward spiral of children's behaviour in and out of school in recent times, as well as shining a light on problems such as bullying and excessive study pressure. It was therefore both entertainment and thought-provoking social commentary. Each episode was set in a different school with a different scenario; however, there was also an overarching plot line that concluded with the final episode. This is a show I enjoyed but perhaps didn't deeply love, and while it was fun and informative to see, I don't see myself rushing to re-watch in the future. Therefore, I am giving this one four stars. Worth a look if you enjoy thoughtful drama and social commentary but with a dash of humour along the way.
