A beautiful collection of 18 stylish crochet projects, each designed to use a single special skein of yarn—from scarves and socks to hats, mittens, and more.

Turn your favourite one-of-a-kind yarns into beautiful, wearable projects with this inspiring crochet collection.

Every crocheter has a skein or two of beautiful yarn they couldn’t resist buying — a hand-dyed treasure picked up while traveling, at a yarn event, or from a local yarn store. These ‘souvenir skeins’ are often too special to use without the perfect pattern… until now.

One Skein Crochet is a curated collection of 18 stylish accessories designed to showcase the beauty of single skeins. From soft socks and stylish shawls to scarves and cowls, each project maximizes the potential of that precious yarn.

Created by celebrated designer Anna Nikipirowicz, this book offers creative patterns that use a range of yarn weights and fibres. The patterns are ideal for gifting, stash busting, or simply treating yourself. With clear instructions and a thoughtful mix of techniques, it’s the ultimate answer to the question, “What can I make with just one skein?”

Features accessible yet stunning patterns for accessories across yarn weights
Projects include socks, shawls, mittens, scarves, and more
Ideal for crocheters looking for portable, quick, and rewarding projects

Make something meaningful from that beautiful skein today!

It can often happen that you end a crochet project and find you have one skein remaining. One Skein Crochet is therefore a great book to help you use up that skein without it gathering dust or going to waste. The patterns were all clothing items ranging from socks to shawls and ranged in difficulty levels so there is something for everyone to try. The book was well presented, with a mix of illustrations and text, and all the patterns were provided in both written and chart form, so you can follow them whatever your preference. There were certainly a few here I would be happy to try in the future. I am therefore giving this book 4.5 stars. The only reason I didn't make it five was that I thought it might have been nice to have a few non-clothing items in the mix too.

I received this book as a free eBook ARC via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
