TV Review: Phantom Lawyer (2026) (Fantasy Drama)

Phantom Lawyer (신이랑 법률사무소)

Fantasy Drama
Netflix

When he suddenly gains the ability to see ghosts, a quiet lawyer recruits an ambitious rival to help his quirky spectral clients find corporeal justice.

I enjoyed the premise of Phantom Lawyer right off the bat. I've always liked fantasy K-drama with an element of shamanism in the plot, and I felt it worked well here. The frequent possessions allowed for plenty of comedy, but there was also a lot of emotional depth to the series too. I thought the interplay between Na-hyeon and I-rang was good, and the pacing of the series generally worked well too. The final episodes also tied up nicely the family drama going on behind I-rang since the series opening. I would recommend this one to fans of fantasy K-drama with plenty of humour. I am giving it 4.5 stars.
