When mafia lawyer Björn turns to mindfulness for a better work-life balance, he discovers new coping strategies — including murder and manipulation.
It was because season 2 appeared in my Netflix 'Coming Soon' list that I first discovered season 1 of Murder Mindfully only a short while ago, and loved it. It was therefore excellent that I only had to wait a few weeks before season 2 landed. In this season Björn faced yet more drama from all quarters, while also trying to work with his coach to heal the wounds of his inner child. While the initial novelty of the show may not have lasted past season 2 -- since we all now know what to expect -- there was still a lot to love about season 2. I enjoyed the continuation and escalation of Björn's mafia problems and the ongoing scrutiny of policewoman Nicole, and there were plenty of laughs amidst the drama. I am definitely up for watching season 3 (which I understand has already been green-lit) and I am planning to start reading the book series too. I am giving season 2 five stars, the same as season 1. I only wish it had been longer, as I was able to binge-watch it in just two nights and am sad it's already over.
