Discover the creative power of slip-stitch knitting with 200 inspiring motifs for every skill level.

From richly textured geometric patterns to striking colorwork effects, The Slip-Stitch Knitting Directory by renowned designer Faina Goberstein offers endless possibilities for knitters looking to expand their stitch repertoire. Clear instructions, detailed charts, and photographs of both sides of the fabric make it easy to explore traditional slip-stitch techniques alongside innovative hybrid designs.

The Slip-Stitch Knitting Directory is a lovely resource for knitters. It contains 200 different types of slip-stitch, each with a unique look, and each stitch features written instructions, a chart and images of the right side and wrong side of the pattern when knitted. This would be a useful book both for those looking for a clearer explanation of a stitch in an existing pattern they are trying to follow or those who wish to create their own patterns and original garments. As an early beginner, most of these were beyond my skill level for the time being, but it is something to aspire to later and for now it was great to see all the lovely looking stitch types that are available. I am giving this one 4.5 stars.

I received this book as a free eBook ARC via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
