When a student unearths the truth behind his grandfather's life, he must unveil his secret superpowers to an underworld eager for his emergence.

I Am Nobody is a series I watched solely because Hou Minghao was in it. He was only a secondary character, but it was available to watch for free on YouTube, so I thought I'd check it out. Overall, I would describe it as okay. At the start I found it a little unnecessarily complicated and I was trying to make sense of who all the different groups were and what the relationships were. Things became more straightforward once the martial arts competition started though and I was able to settle into the plot a bit more. I enjoyed the martial arts-superpowers and the fight scenes. The search to uncover the truth behind the calamity years ago and Feng Bao Bao's identity were both compelling. By the end, I understood Bao Bao's history but was still a bit unclear on the calamity. It did end in a way that suggested a sequel, though, so perhaps there is still more to be revealed. There was a lot of humour in the story, and some of it I enjoyed, but at times I thought it went a bit overboard into silliness. That's why I am giving it 3.5 stars. It had some flaws but was still a mostly enjoyable fantasy-action series.
