An ordinary man who inherits super strength discovers a greater evil out to steal his power. The one catch? Every use drains money from his wallet.
Cashero was a mostly fun show to kick us into 2026. I liked the superhero concept of the series, where each person with a power had a different requirement in order to use it, be it spending money or drinking alcohol. The powers, too, were fun and gave the creators a lot to play with. Where the show fell a tad flat was with the bad guy, who was pretty underwhelming, but, to be fair, that is often a weak point in superhero dramas/films, so it's not a fault unique to this series. At 8 episodes, the pacing was good and I think any more would have felt too drawn out. There was also a good blend of drama, action and humour. It was fun to see a Korean superhero piece, so I hope they will do more in that vein in the future. I am giving this one 4 stars. Definitely worth a look if you are a fan of the genre.
