I decided to watch Mobius partly for the interesting-sounding story and partly for Chinese listening practice, since I do tend to watch more wuxia/xianxia in Chinese TV, which is not so useful for hearing everyday speech. Overall, I enjoyed this series. The 16-episode length was refreshing, since so many Chinese shows are looong, and the story felt well paced and complete within that time frame. It was generally well acted, although a few moments were directed as comedy which I thought could have been played more seriously. The twists and turns were pretty good as the truth was slowly revealed over the course of the show. While not a show I would rush to buy on DVD to watch again, it was still highly entertaining and well put together, so I recommend it to fans of crime thrillers with a sci-fi twist. I am giving it 4 stars.
