Love in the Clouds was a drama I took to right from the get go. I loved the story premise and the classic enemies-to-lovers trope. This was also one that was well acted throughout and there was great chemistry between the two leads. Hou Minghao in particular gave an excellent performance and I would now like to watch more of his dramas. The effects in this were pretty standard for Chinese TV fantasy: a bit clunky at times but generally okay. The pacing was good and the fight scenes were nicely choreographed and fun to watch. At 36 episodes, the length felt okay and didn't drag at all. Seeing this drama made me want to read the book it is based on. I am giving this one 5 stars as it's a series I feel I could watch again and still enjoy as much the second time.
