Book Tag: Seven Deadly Sins Challenge

Today I am taking part in the Seven Deadly Sins Book Tag and I welcome anyone who likes the concept to join in! I am not sure who created the tag, but if you know, please comment below and I will credit them.

The questions are:

Gluttony - A book you can reread
Lust - A book you got for the cover
Greed - A book you borrowed
Sloth - A book on your TBR pile for a long time
Envy - A book you want to live in
Pride - A big or challenging book
    Wrath - A book you didn't enjoy

So, without further ado, let me kick things off with my answers!

Gluttony - A book you can reread

Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden - I've read the full series through three times so far, even though I rarely reread due to lack of time.

Lust - A book you got for the cover

The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh - I liked the story premise too, but the cover is just so pretty.

Greed - A book you borrowed

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo - I bought this as a gift for my mother when I was about 13 or 14, but the text was very tiny and too hard for her to read, so she passed it back to me and it still lives on my bookshelf to this day.

Sloth - A book on your TBR pile for a long time

The Gods Will Have Blood by Anatole France - Not technically sitting in my TBR yet, but it's been on my wishlist for several years now.

Envy - A book you want to live in

Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien - I see myself as a shield maiden of Rohan... or an elf princess.

Pride - A big or challenging book

Ulysses by James Joyce - Read during my university years and I wrote an essay on it.

Wrath - A book you didn't enjoy

Tristram Shandy by Laurence Stern - I've attempted to read this three times and given up on every occasion.
