A passionate researcher’s life takes a turn when a strict director arrives at her potato lab — proving that love can sprout in the most unlikely places.
The Potato Lab was a generally strong rom-com/drama. I liked the premise and overall set-up of the series, which also contained memorable side characters alongside the two leads. For the latter, I felt their chemistry was good and I was happy to cheer for them throughout. The pacing for most of the series was good, but a couple of things felt a little rushed in the ending, despite it being a mostly satisfying conclusion. As with any Korean rom-com, there is a good mix of emotion and humour, and plenty of fun moments to make you laugh out loud. I am giving it 4.5 stars.
